Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Eligibly Shopify app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

Who runs Eligibly. Eligibly is operated by Charles Moreton, an individual (sole proprietor) doing business as "Eligibly". Mailing address: 160 Birdsall St #1213, Houston, TX 77007, USA. The service

Eligibly scans a Shopify catalog and store settings and shows issues that conflict with published Google Merchant Center policies. It can preview, apply, and undo a limited set of product edits when the merchant grants write_products. It does not submit a feed to Google, and it does not connect to Merchant Center.

Google decides which products and accounts it approves. Eligibly does not guarantee approval, disapproval, or reinstatement.

Who may use it

You need a Shopify store and authority to connect that store. You are responsible for the product data you ask the app to read or change, and for reviewing a fix before you rely on it. Suggested and guided fixes are not applied until you act on them.

Plans and payment

Plans are billed by Shopify, monthly only: Free at $0, Growth at $19 per month, and Pro at $49 per month. Growth and Pro include a 14-day trial. There is no yearly plan. Shopify's payment terms apply to the charge. You can change plans in the app without contacting support. A downgrade keeps your scan history and applies the lower limits on the next scan and the next one-click fix.

Same-organization development stores are not charged by Shopify. That does not change the plan limits once a plan is selected.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to misrepresent products, to hide a policy problem from buyers, or to interfere with another merchant's store. The app may suspend work for a shop that abuses the API or the fix tools. Uninstall is available from the Shopify admin at any time.

Your content

You keep ownership of your catalog. You grant Eligibly permission to read and, when you apply a fix, write the product fields the check needs. That permission ends when you uninstall, except for the retention described in the privacy policy until shop/redact.

Disclaimer

The app is provided as available. Policy citations can go out of date. A finding can be a false positive, and a clean scan can miss an issue Google later flags. You should read the cited policy before you treat a finding as a reason to change a listing.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Eligibly is not liable for lost profits, lost ads spend, or a Merchant Center suspension. Total liability for a claim about the app is limited to the fees you paid for Eligibly through Shopify in the three months before the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or the app will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you and Eligibly consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. This does not remove a consumer protection right that the law of your home country or state says cannot be waived.

Changes

Updated terms will be posted on this page. If a change is material, the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the updated terms.
